After I working for a small, local brokerage for 5 years, I decided to open my own real estate office in the Dublin Historic District together with my husband Kurt.

Why I Became a Real Estate Professional?

Before I discovered real estate, my interests were centered on dressmaking and fashion design. I am originally from Europe and came to the United States 25 years ago.

My husband, also from Austria, accepted a teaching position at The Ohio State University. When my 3 sons attended grade school, I started a custom dress making business out of my home in Dublin. I really enjoyed the creativity and excitement dress making provided for me.

I have been involved in real estate on a full-time basis together with my husband since 2005. We purchased and rehabbed homes, and negotiated more than 200 short sales. We still own rental properties and a self storage facility.

In a way, working with first time buyers is very similar like working with brides-to-be. There is all that anxiousness of finding the right one (house, not dress , friends and family get to help with the decision making process. And then there is this great joy and sense of fulfillment when we finally sit around the closing table!
